1    I say truth in Christ; I lie not; my conscience also bearing witness to me in Holy Spirit (lit: “in spirit holy”)

1     αληθειαν λεγω εν χριστω ου ψευδομαι συμμαρτυρουσης μοι της συνειδησεως μου εν πνευματι αγιω

2    That I have great grief and unceasing pain to (in) my heart.

2     οτι λυπη μοι εστιν μεγαλη και αδιαλειπτος οδυνη τη καρδια μου

3    For I was wishing (used to wish? imp.) I myself (anathema) *accursed or dedicated/dedication* to be from (possibly “by” or “for”) Christ over (for the sake of) my brothers, my relatives (family; kinfolk) according to flesh

3     ηυχομην γαρ αυτος εγω αναθεμα ειναι απο του χριστου...

1   Brethren, indeed the delight of my heart and the prayer to God over Israel is into salvation!

1  αδελφοι η μεν ευδοκια της εμης καρδιας και η δεησις η προς τον θεον υπερ του ισραηλ εστιν εις σωτηριαν

2  For I testify (witness) to them that they have zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

3  For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, to the righteousness of God they were not subjected (hupetagesan).

3  αγνοουντες γαρ την του θεου δικαιοσυνην και την ιδιαν δικαιοσυνην ζητουντες στησαι τη δικαιοσυνη του θεου ουχ υπεταγη...

1      I say then, God did not thrust away His people. It may not be, for I also am an Israelite, out of Abraham’s seed, of the tribe of Benjamin.

2      God did not thrust away his people whom He foreknew (knew before), or have you not recognized in Elijah what the Scripture says, as he is pleading to God against Israel, saying

Chapter 12

1      I beseech you therefore, brethren, through the mercies of God, to present your bodies (a) living sacrifice, holy, well-pleasing to God: your reasonable (logiken) service.

        παρακαλω ουν υμας αδελφοι δια των οικτιρμων του θεου παραστησαι τα σωματα υμων θυσιαν ζωσαν αγιαν ευαρεστον τω θεω την λογικην λατρειαν υμων

2      And not be conformed to this world (eon), but you be transformed to the renewing of your mind, that you may test what (is) the will of God, the good and acceptable (well-pleasing) and perfect.

        και μη συσχηματιζεσθε τω αιωνι τουτω αλλα μεταμορφουσθε τη ανακαινωσει του νοος υμων εις το δοκιμαζειν υμα...

Anytime an individual or group sets themselves up as the authority over other men’s knowledge and understanding of God or the Bible, or imposes his authority over how others believe or live their lives in regards to spiritual or religious matters, he is establishing himself as a Cult leader. When a leader or group of leaders declares themselves to be the sole or key human agent through whom God reveals His Truth, the only ones to whom knowledge or understanding of the Scriptures has been given, or to whom men must submit and obey in order to ‘follow’ God or be acceptable to or received by God, he or they have set themselves up as leaders of a Cult.

“… upon this Rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matt 16:18b

Jesus speaking to Peter is recorded as saying that the gates of Hell should not prevail against the church of Jesus Christ. He did not say that the armies of hell shall not be able to destroy the church, but that the gates of hell shall not prevail against – or withstand – the church of Christ. This is battle language with the church on the offensive.

The church of Christ is called to storm the gates of hell. Hell is the prison of every man and woman who has not faith in Christ. Every cult member, and every person without Christ is presently consigned to hell.

Jehovah’s Witnesses Watchtower Society rejects Jesus Christ as God. The original Jehovah’s Witnesses Watchtower Society argument against the deity of Jesus Christ was that there was only one God, Jehovah, therefore Jesus could not be God. They had a problem with Isaiah 9:6 and John 1:1, in which He is clearly referred to as “mighty God” and “God”, so The Watchtower Society adapted their teaching; they now say that Jesus is the mighty God, but Jehovah is Almighty God. In other words, in order to support their argument that Jesus is not God because there is only one God, they assert at least two Gods: Jesus the mighty God and Jehovah the Almighty God.
