Explaining the Trinity in Comprehensible Terms
“God” refers to the single corporate entity comprised of three unique Individuals who bear the same nature but Their own identities.
Being “God” for each of the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, is somewhat comparable to being “Smith” for Mr., Mrs, and any junior Smith’s. Each are equally “Smith”, members with one another in the single family group, of the same type and nature as one another while also being unique individuals.
Alternatively, one could compare, again loosely, the single entity, parliament, and its members, with the single corporate entity “God” with its multiple Members, Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each Member is of the same type and nature as the other, and equally members of the whole while being unique individual identities.
God never attempts to change God’s identity. God is always God, and each Member is always, equally, and fully, God together with the other two Members.
